The treatment decisions were directed especially at the needy and included surgeries, medicines, and medical examinations.
Over 5,000 patients received medical consultation and treatment via video conference in 2022, said Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Hossam Abdel-Ghaffar.
Moreover, 419,987 specialised medical examinations were provided to patients who registered to receive the integrated services card, which aims to provide individuals with disabilities with integrated services across the health, education, rehabilitation, work, transportation sectors, said Mohamed Zidan, head of the Specialised Medical Councils.
Applications for this medical examination are received on this website, he added.
Patients seeking state care must head to the closest government hospital to determine the level of medical care needed and await approval by relevant parties, Zidan concluded.
