Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Board of the Healthcare Authority, emphasized the importance of the cooperation agreement signed between the Egyptian Unified Procurement, Supply and Medical Supply Authority and the Medical Technology Management with the Arab Hospitals Federation. This agreement was signed as part of the preparatory conferences for the second edition of the Africa Health ExCon 2023 medical exhibition and conference, which achieved great success in the first edition at the health level. He pointed out that the agreement will contribute to opening new horizons for the authority to spread its experience in securing all medical supplies, drugs, and devices and making them available to Arab countries, as part of exchanging experiences between Egypt and sister Arab countries.

He confirmed that the protocol will provide a framework for continuous cooperation and coordination with Arab hospitals in general and the Unified Procurement Authority, achieving joint success between the authority and the federation to ensure the presence of healthcare services in all Arab countries, especially in Egypt.

He indicated that through the agreement, they look forward to full cooperation and coordination with all representatives of the federation and representatives of Arab hospitals, stressing that their participation during the second edition of the Africa Health ExCon will be more distinguished and effective than the first edition, which will witness the presentation of many new trends to ensure access to more sustainable and high-quality healthcare systems for the peoples of the Arab region in general.

It is worth mentioning that the Egyptian Unified Procurement, Supply and Medical Supply Authority and Medical Technology Management signed a cooperation agreement with the Arab Hospitals Federation today, Tuesday, as part of the preparatory conferences for the second edition of the Africa Health ExCon 2023 medical exhibition and conference, which the authority organizes during the period from June 7 to 10 in Cairo, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
